  • The mountainous North, with multi-colored famous orchids, fascinating native handicrafts, fresh garden pick fruits like strawberries and peaches.
  • The high Northeast Plateau, with many anthropological mysteries.
  • The Central Plain, fertile rice and fruit-growing areas. Traditional culture simple way of life, sandy beaches of the East Coast and vibrant cosmopolitan Bangkok.
  • The peninsular South with unspoiled beaches and islands complement. Other economic activities like Tin mining, Rubber cultivation and Fishing, are also in this region.

Thais are respected for their friendliness and hospitality. 62 million citizens of Thailand are ethnic Thai, many originates from China, India and elsewhere. Almost 7 million reside in the capital city of Bangkok.

Spoken and written Thai language is not understandable by casual visitor. But English is widely understood. Hotels, shops and restaurants in major tourist destinations, use English. Thai-English road and street signs are in all the cities and tourist places.
